Mr. Erik Lapointe, General Manager of REFORMAR, has over 15 years of experience in the maritime sector. He oversees the management of financial, human, and material resources, ensuring operational excellence and the strategic development of the organization.

An expert in maritime operations management, compliance with safety standards, and strategic contract negotiations, he is recognized for his leadership and his ability to actively contribute to ambitious initiatives in marine science and technology.


Geneviève McCormack

Geneviève McCormack

Ms. Geneviève McCormack is a retired executive, formerly Director General of the Canadian Hydrographic Service (2018–2023) at Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

Previously, she served as Director General of Monitoring and Data Services at Environment and Climate Change Canada (2012–2018) and as Director at Natural Resources Canada.

Her career highlights her strong expertise in strategic management, environmental monitoring, and scientific governance.


Théau Leclercq

Théau Leclercq

Théau Leclercq joined CIDCO in 2023. He holds a Master’s degree in Physical Oceanography from UQAR (Canada) as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography from the University of Western Brittany in partnership with SHOM (France). He brings strong expertise in hydrographic survey operations, working with both conventional vessels and autonomous surface vehicles (ASV) such as the DriX.

With an engineering background, complemented by a Master's and a PhD in engineering specialized in marine biotechnology, Jihed Bentahar leads innovation and commercialization at CIDCO. 

In his role, Mr. Bentahar is dedicated to technological evolution, the development of strategic partnerships, and the transfer of technology to the market. His activities focus on trend analysis, adapting the offering, and enhancing the value of technological advancements.

Vishwa earned his Master of Computer Science degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2023.


Mohsen Feizabadi

Mohsen Feizabadi

I have master’s degree both in Geomatics engineering (Istanbul Technical University, Turkey) and Geography (Université de Montréal). In Geomatics, my research focused on geodesy and specifically studying geoid determination and evaluation by the satellite and in-situ data. I continued my studies to investigate the sea level changes of Blacksea using tide-gauge and satellite altimetry data.

With a rich experience of 27 years as a technician in the automotive field. Mr. Guimond is now proud to be part of the CIDCO staff He joined the team in August 2022 as an Equipment Technician and Storekeeper.


Dominic Gonthier

Dominic Gonthier

In 2008, Dominic obtained a DEC in biomedical analysis and began a career as a laboratory technician in microbiology at the Rimouski hospital. During the 13 years he spent in this position, he had the opportunity to work on the implementation of a new computer system, which made him discover a world full of possibilities.

In the fall of 2020, he began studying computer science by correspondence at Université Laval. Dominic quickly developed an interest in Python programming, artificial intelligence and relational databases.

Ms. Andréane Bastien is currently the Executive Director of the Transforming Climate Action program at the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) since December 2023.
